Granite Care and Maintenance

 

The natural stone your have purchased for your home or office is an investment that will give you many years of beautiful service. Stone is a natural product and simple care and maintenance will keep it looking beautiful. Here are some recommendations for routine care and cleaning:

 

• You should not need to purchase any special cleaning supplies to care for your granite.  Most stone surfaces can be cleaned with a mild liquid dish washing detergent and warm water.

 

• Rinse the surface thoroughly after washing with detergent and dry     with a soft cloth.

 

• For convenience you may use Windex or Glass Plus.

 

• If you are concerned about bacteria, use a 10% bleach and water solution.

 

Tip: In the bath or shower, soap scum can be minimized by using a squeegee after each use.
